close to the team. Apperently the coaches feel that they got a good class, missed out on some guys they wish wouldnt have gotten away but that happens to every team every year. He also told me that they are real happy with the JC guys they brought in and all except Briggs and Clark should see time this year and provide immediate depth. Briggs and Clark are most likely going to redshirt to get aclimated to the College Ball and give the team further depth later on. It is also hard for Fall guys to contribute right away although Ray Gurley will almost 100% be starting when he comes in. Also the coaches wished they would have gotten a couple more O-Linemen and LB's. Sucks because John Maheffey de-commited at the last minute and we lost out on Felton, Gustavis and Orekwiku. We also lost Jason Berryman who will be an awesome LB at Iowa State. However the coaches were happy and also watch for Marcus Thomas to make an immediate contribution most likely on special teams. My source says this guy just is awesome on tapes from high school, he even said better then Mike Bell looked.
