Had ABC got the BCS contract after this next season, do you really think ESPN would have done this? Hell no. I guarantee you'll hear a lot more anti-BCS talk out of ESPN/ABC this season, since they aren't partners after the year.

Coaches votes should be public. I completely agree. If ESPN feels it needs to seperate itself from the process in order to uphold their believes that it should be public as well, then I believe they are doing the right thing.

Despite the fact that Cal got dismantled and Texas was most likely the better team, Cal should have gotten that Rosebowl invite and the coaches who voted for Texas based on their game play to that point should be held accountable.

I agree, KV. However, this whole thing wouldn't be happening if ABC got the BCS contract extended.
