Good series so far. Same thing happened w/the A's offense earlier in the year...the pitching was tentative b/c they knew if they gave up any runs, the game was basically over.

Scioscia's ego is out of control. He may have no idea how to fill out a lineup card, but at least he has some semblance of an idea when to pull pitchers, unlike Kenny Macha.

Morgan, what's terrible is your ability to put together a fantasy college football league. I set my rankings twice (took me half an hour each time) this week, only to wake up to the email saying that the league was cancelled.

BTW, Scot Shields has an ERA of two and half in 64 games, a .206 BAA and a 3-1 K/BB ratio. He's got nine losses with a 2.50 ERA...what does that tell you about the manager? Shields is a witch; I'm thrilled he's on the Angels.

I love Shields, I was trying to reverse jinx him. He isn't great against the A's though and I was worried. CBS doesn't know what the **** they are doing. I had people who were going to join day of draft but the thing kept getting deleted at midnight. My Bad.
