Game thoughts

WHEEEW. Arizona has got some heart and players. This game was tuff. Utah did not win as much as survived this game. We are breaking in a bunch of new players. The hitting Arizona did in the 1st QT was just sick. Anyway I am now officially a huge Arizona fan (SOS) but honestly I would not be surprised to see you all in a bowl game. Your freshman recover (Thomas I think) is a stud. Well good luck.

P.S. I was absolutely shocked Arizona punted with 1 timeout under 4 minutes on our 41 that was insane. But we needed that.

Utes Out.

Thanks for the words.

Keep watching us cause someday soon you'll look back on your win and call it a great one for your 2005 season.

Now don't post anything else, I may develop a soft spot for gracious Utah fans.

Good luck the rest of the season, looks like you've got another good young Quarterback on your hands. I wish we could say the same about us....

God Bless Thomas Herrian, his family and the rest of Ute Nation.

I thought your O-fense was pretty good. Bell ran good and your recievers did a nice job getting open in the seams. Your QB was solid. Not great but he made some big plays. After this game I predict Utah will go 9-3 there is no way we go undefeated to many youngsters.

Brian Johnson did a great job. Good luck to the Utes.

Kovalcheck had a very good second half, other than the first interception. He ended up with 255 yards passing, was hitting 60% of his passes up until the last few desperation throws, and led the Cats on three TD drives. I'm not ready to throw in the towel on him yet.

I'm not sure if this is the right thread but I don't want to waste time looking through everything. Bottom line I was in shock to see the intensity we displayed at the beginning of the game but dismayed after the first few defensive series'. Looks like we just hit a wall, cant tackle, can't cover, then we pick it up later in the game an almost win it. Anyway some promise some disapointment. ****
