I don't think it's jitters, ZC.
It's just that the mid-majors are catching up to the big boys. That's well-documented, how much other countries have caught up to the U.S. in basketball, but the same phenomenon is going on in conferences like the MAC, West Coast, Missouri Valley, WCAC and many others--to relatively little fanfare. It's time to wake up, college hoops America: even the team you have scheduled as Cupcake U. can take you down on any given night if you're not prepared for them.
