I have a bad feeling on this one. However, if he commits to SC, I have to believe that Ross and Holland will go the WAY of the CATS!

Hermosa, I have to wonder what happens with Gable if the Oregon recruiters are actually right and he can't get in.

How can you have a bad feeling? all that can come of it is good. If we get him that makes this class unrealistic for a 3-8 team and gives us the steal of the recruiting season. If not then we lose out on a guy who was in love with USC. Im am impressed that we are even in his final two coming out of nowhere

ISIT: I do not disagree with you at all. In fact, I was on Rivals, and they have a poll that list the surprising teams and theoir recruiting thus far. Arizona was on of the teams on the list of 4 or 5.
Stoops and Co. have done an INCREDIBLE JOB, and I salute them for all their efforts!
Ps. the guy I was talking about last night (Oregon recruiter) told me that Dana Dimmel has a nice pipeline to the Houston area. Someone on the board had mentioned that before, but it was nice to hear from the competiton.

Gable committed to USC, but at least it came down between USC and Az. This is a a benchmark as Az is making entry into Sylmar and Canyon Country. At least the players are beginning to listen. In 2006, Az can recruit a RB stating that Gable is still riding the pine and playing in garbage time. Do not overlook this precidence.
Stoops knows what he is doing at least he can at least talk to the players with encouragement from the High School Coach. Az can now go into Hart High School which is always highly ranked in So Cal. You have to start early and their will be a replacement for Gable at Sylmar.
