Question: If the Cats lost by the spread...

...would everyone be *****ing so much about playing at LSU? Would it be SO disastrous to a young, rebuilding program if we left Baton Rouge with a 36-20 loss? Think about it.

This game was a perfect storm of mistakes, concussions, over-confidence...you name it. It was a woodshed whoopin - but they happen.

Some very intelligent folks set the line at 15/16/or whatever it was, and then millions of people pushed and pulled it over a period of several days to its final point at gametime.

So again I ask everyone: would the sky be falling on the Arizona football program if the team lost on the road to #5 LSU 52-36, 26-10, or 16-0?

No, I expected us not to cover. What I didn't expect was to be humiliated.

I am not frustrated about losing, I am frustrated about the lack of progress this program is making.

I say last year or the year before, we find a way to lose to BYU, ala Wisconson or Utah.

The LSU game is not a benchmark game to gauge progress. The BYU game is lost last year but this year it was won. We should not have been at LSU this year ... we just weren't ready for them and it showed.

Progress is being made folks, you have to get your minds past the LSU game to see it though.

Right now I would look elsewhere for betting opportunities...we didn't cover against BYU either. Of course you could always bet against them, but I can't do it.

No it wouldn't be disaterous, but yes, everyone would still be *****ing about it. Look at how everyone reacted after the byu WIN. If we win by 50 next week everyone will still find something to compllain about.

Not talking gambling here. Just using the line as a barometer for the projected outcome.
