I really hate to post this but the scummie softball team is 8-0 and currently ranked in #2 in the most recent USA today poll. The Cats are ranked at #3 at 4-2. Oh man I hate to see that!!!

I respect what Myers is doing at asu and 8-0 is good but when the devils play someone worth playing, I will really be impressed. The early season tourney the Cats played in devil land, the Cats played the ranked teams and the devils didn't. Go figure---home field advantage. And I believe the Cats are 9-2.

P.S. : I also hate to see them ranked higher but I think that will come out in the wash over time.

P.S.S.: A. Williams would really be helping things a ton. Get it together in the classroom!

From what I know(inside source), she will not be pitching this year. I would not be surprised to see Candrea go after someone like Dana Alcocer for next year.

That's terrible Williams won't be pitching this season but I think it will all work out with how Candrea utilizes the pitching staff.

I know it will work out - the team should be able to rely on Mowatt, and I understand that Akamine is off to a good start. Its just a matter of whether or not she can maintain it throughout.

And the offense is good enough to sustain them in the more competitive conference games.
