Clarence Farmer needs to get his head out his ass...

I keep hearing how good old clarence farmer is still acting up by missing meetings and generally not being the senior team leader he needs to be. There are many things that this guy has done that many dont know so before anyone says he has been understood i would hold off. The only thing that has been misunderstood by this guy is that he thinks he is a god and above the entire team. I thought it was all over but the guy missed another team meeting. Who does that when they are a senior.

Farmed has a short leash right now and needs to keep his act together or he is going to have a fun time watching Mike Bell from the sidelines

Personally I think it is just a matter of time before he is gone John. He may have said there is no animosity or anything, and he may be right, but he insists on doing what he wants, when he wants, regardless of the rules of the program.

Hopefully he will last the whole season or blow his fuse before the season starts so either way it is not a distraction.

Today at practice..

Coach Mack pulled Farm aside to speak with him. I did not hear what was said, but Clarence often looked away and walked away from the talk looking irritated, as did Mack.

Clarence cannot do this crap in the NFL. And if he is not careful the NFL won't take him due to his attitude, especially if he doesn't play this year, and already at the rate he is going the ice he is skating on is getting thinner and thinner.

Doesn't Clarence realize that all he is doing is hurting his NFL draft position? How hard is it to keep quiet, do what the coach says, and get drafted next April?

Apparently extremely hard for one headcase. Shut up, run the damn ball, do your homework and makes millions in 9 months. Hell, where is my chance to do that.

Question Gainus Scott

Could someone give me an update on Gainus Scott? I watched him play in high school, and have been surprised he hasn't seen much playing time for the Wildcats. He was awesome at LaPorte and I was very disappointed he didn't sign with Baylor.

I would appreciate any information re him, including your opinions about his ability and attitude. Good luck to you guys this year!

Unfortuantly...

Ganius Scott has not being feeling well at practice which has hurt his chances of getting playing time. When he comes back he will be behind both Farmer and Bell. I think he has alot of upside but he has been hurt alot in his time here as a Wildcat. We will see what happens but as of right now, escpecially with Chris Henry coming on I do not see much time for Scott this year.

Son....or daughter of a preacha man!

Gainus has not participated in drills since Saturday evening. He has been at practice but not suited up. He reportadely is constantly dehydrated and has a hard time keeping anything down. Hopefully he'll return soon b/c he was working with the 3rd unit, and in contention for playing time. He saw the feild a little bit last year, but had a hard time holding on to the ball. Nice shifty back though and with Clarence's situation up in the air, Gainus might play a more important role.

Thumbs up NewportCat and OJ Did It

Appreciate both of you guys getting back to me. Gainus is a very gifted running back, and I'm pulling for him to recover physically. I'm sure you guys remember his cousin Yousif, a big lineman on your team several years ago. I think he plays for the Arizona Cardianals now.

My wife's taught in LaPorte ISD for over 30 years, where both our children attended all their school years. I'm an old broken down former football player, trying to make it until College Football and Volleyball starts the end of this month.

Thanks again for the info.
