UNC lands top 2009 PG

These kids are getting things over earlier & earlier. This is the same kid that SI & the Washington Post did a write up on when he was a 6th grader.

Scout has him as the #6 overall player in his class. It appears that Roy Williams wants 2 top flight primary ball handlers available at all times. Lawson & Frasor work well together.....hopefully so can Drew & Marshall.

Edited to add that Marshall is in the 2010 class....not 2009.

He was hurt. & Any top 100 player that is a PG is a top flight primary ball handler. Even Greg Paulus is a top flight primary ball handler. They may not be elite PGs, with the ability to run a title contending team, but they can certainly be more than servicable on the floor.

& I realize we are getting into semantics here, but the bottom line is, Frasor is plenty good enough to be the guy with the ball in his hands for stretches at UNC.....I'm not confident that he can be "the man"....but he is more than accomplished enough to do what Roy Williams is asking to do.

....just as Greg Paulus would be a more-than-serviceable backup PG at UNC, itamic.

Going by Rivals rankings, Gaddy is the only top fifteen player form the 2009 class to commit to a school.

Four of the top ten from the 2010 class are already committed?

What's up with that?

Perhaps this kid will be a welcome site after two successive years of Frasor and then Drew leading UNC. All this coming on the heels of top-flight, primary ball handler Quentin Thomas.
