I have said it will be Kruger for 2-3 months. Good coach. Will not win the press conference and will lead to JL dismissal at the end of next year.

Kruger would be considered at best the seventh best coach in the Pac-10 behind Howland, Floyd, Sendek, Romar, Bennett, Monty. That's how Arizona basketball enters a recruit's home when it begins its recruiting pitch.

I will be extremely disappointed if he is hired and our program slowly goes down the drain to the point of no return.
Worst possible choice right now IMO. I'd rather hire Pastner right now.

Instead of JL winning the press conference, he's now going to be lucky if people don't show up with pitchforks and torches.
There is a very real possibility that the press conference may implode on itself and suck the University in with it.

Kruger is a good coach who will be destroyed here. We're already angry at him and we don't even know if he's the hire, and he hasn't even coached a game yet. Wow!
Perhaps they should hire Pennell/Dunlap if they can't get Pitino. At least we won't take our anger for Livengood out on them. |
