I feel for Geary, I really do, but hiring Archie is best for the program. This will also make the transition for Sean 100x easier with his brother here.

I'm just sort of skeptical at the role Archie played in all of this. OSU in general was lucky that starting with Lebron, the region became a hotbed of high school talent (and it helped that Thad knew the recruiting grounds well by coaching at Butler in Indianapolis and subsequently in Cincinnati).

Its simply flat out wrong to give Archie much credit for OSU's recruiting in the past 4 years (Groce, now at Ohio U, played a much bigger role).

Well nepotism never looks good on any level and is in fact illegal in some places, granted Archie is deserving and I know Sean is hiring him because he is a good coach and not because it is his brother, but it would be sort of awkward having to tell Geary that he is hiring his own brother over him. There was a rumor that Roz was hired, I think someone started that on here last week. As of this writing he has not been hired by Pastner and if he is it wont be as a coach and Roz has stated as recently as last week during a tennis match we played, that he has no plans to take any non coaching jobs anywhere, he wants to be a floor coach or nothing.
