Should be a good card. I can't see Rashad winning absent a lucky shot, but the other fights should all be competitive. Not big names, but some very even, interesting fights.

Agree, fun card.

What Rampage said about the fight makes sense. Said Rashad needs to go at him fast in the first don't let him get comfortable.

Hope he shocks the world and knocks out Danas *****.

I agree Rashad can't win staying outside. He lacks too much reach, he'll just get picked apart. In close poses problems too. I know Rashad is a wrestler, but Jones took Bader apart so easily, I'd be nervous grappling.

The one area I could see Rashad using to make it hard is movement. His natural style is so movement heavy, if he can keep Jones off balance, he can box him. Jones can hit the bigger strikes, but volume could give Rashad a chance. Worst case, he stands in front of Jones. Rashad's wrestling gives him the best chance against Jones. If he can get Jones in trouble he can keep it standing.

I don't mind Jones though. Hoping Dan Henderson gets the next title shot regardless. Hendo/Jones would be fun. I couldn't see that going five.

100 percent! I love the way he fights but would love to see him get rocked.

Also on Hendo...he says he will take on Junior if offered. Have to love a guy who will fight anyone

Jon Jones losing at LHW would officially supplant GSP/Serra as the biggest upset ever. If Rashad can't do it, there's no one better suited to beat him. I hope he gets Hendo next, b/c Henderson has at least the puncher's chance.

H-bomb landing is hendo's only chance. nobody at 205 can reliably take bones down. I still think Machida has the best chance at taking out bones.

The reason sonnen was able to take silva down last fight isbecause he was out striking silva too. completely dominated the entire fight. Silva is 1-3, Sonnen is about 5-2 in vegas. Smart money is sonnen, even though Silva pulls this out probably 55% of the time.

Yes and no. He never really tried to strike with Silva, just enough to set up the takedown. Even when he caught Silva, he just converted the takedown. If Silva can keep it standing, I can't see Sonnen hanging for five rounds.

That said, I don't disagree that Sonnen is a favorite until Silva establishes that he can stop the takedown. The sub from the bottom probably won't do the trick. In the first fight, Silva just didn't move well on the feet. He needs to change that, b/c if he's stationary, Sonnen will take him down again.
